Editing

In comparison to proofreading, editing is a more hands-on approach for texts that are still in being finalized. Beyond checking your text thoroughly for spelling, grammar and punctuation, an editor will pay also pay close attention to the formatting, style and content, and will suggest ways the text might be rearranged or rephrased to improve clarity and presentation.
I offer two main kinds of editing depending on your needs:
Copy-editing
This is a more hands-on editing job which looks for ways to rephrase and restructure the text in preparation for publishing.
Plain Language
Plain language editing means working on the language and presentation of a text to remove jargon to improve accessibility to the widest audience.
